Martyrdom

During prayer I saw myself being crucified on a cross just like Jesus did. My eyes were blindfolded, and I thought is this my destiny?--this kind of death to glorify Jesus? There was no fear in my heart. I just prayed, God if this is your will, may it be done. I'm willing to die for you.

Just the day before, I pondered on the death of Jesus. He loved each one of His children so much that He's willing to do anything for them. And if anything bad is gonna happen, it has to go through Him first because He protects them so much. He is the good shepherd that lays down His life for His sheep. When Jesus was resurrected at the 21st Chapter of the book of John, he told Peter to take care of His lambs three times. It is so important to the Lord, that someone will protect and take care of His sheep. I thought about our youth, and people from church, each dear children of God. And I thought if I'm willing to lay down my life for them as Jesus did. When I look at them, I truly fall in love with each one of them. And I thought I'm willing to die for any one of them. And that was the kind of love Jesus lived. I thought if great persecution comes one day, and a terrorist came and threatened to kill. Am I willing to let the terrorist take my life to protect others? Then I thought Jesus you are worth it. You died for me, and I'll die for you. I owe you my life. I thought Lord you are so wonderful and beautiful and had been so merciful and good to me, I was a horrible sinner, yet you delivered me, what can I do to return to you. How am I going to express the thankfulness of my heart? Singing wouldn't do, dancing wouldn't do, shouting out loud wouldn't be enough, because you are so great and awesome.. Oh! Let me offer you my life! It's such love that overwhelms the heart, and it explodes like a volcano. I'm willing to die for you!! It's my joy to do it for Jesus! Pick me! Pick me! Let me die for you! Let me be crucified! Let me be teared apart! Let me! Jesus Let me go! This is the greatest expression of love the bible says, that we would lay down our lives for our friend. There is no greater love. This is the highest form of the expression of love is Martyrdom in the response to loving God. Lord I'm willing to do it for you and your sheep just make me ready when the time comes, and if I loose my life I will find it in the end. There's nothing to loose, but to die is to gain! Let me be glorified in You.
