Month of Iyar (April/May) - The Month of Issachar

Today is 19th of Iyar according to Jewish Calendar which is God's calendar. As I'm doing some studies, I'd like to continue to breakdown the cycles of God's doing in this month according the Hebraic mind and the word of God.

Iyar (29 days April/May)

Alphabet: VAV "connection, linking"

Tribe: Issachar

Month of Revelation

Issachar is known for the anointing to understand the times and to know what to do accordingly. This is a month in which God is downloading secrets and revelation of the Covenant. Nissan being the first month which is the Passover, when Covenant is reconfirmed with God's peoploe. Then Sivan is the third month which is Pentecost when Torah is given. So Iyar becomes an important month of transition, which is also signified through the Alphabet Vav which means connecting and linking. During this month when Israelites have received the covenant, but not knowing much about this God who delivered them out of Egypt, God begin to reveal more about the Covenant and Himself. This is when God revealed Himself to be Johovah Raph, Johovah Jaira, and Johovah Nissi during each challenge God is teaching them who He really is. So during this month we must set our hearts to seek God and to expect to receive revelations about His covenant.

Personal Testimony: This point is accurate because I've been having more revelation specifically about our covenant with God than lots of other period of times. I really do gain a lot more revelations here.

Connection (Vav)

This is also the month for you to see how you're connected this month so you can determine your course during the year. This is when we need to respond in order to see how to advance into the next season. This is also the month that links the month of redemption (Passover) to the month of giving (Pentecost). So our praise for starting the year by coming out will continue the momentum until offering if presented at Pentecost. This assures multiplication. Your prosperity is linked with how you react in this month.

Personal Testimony: I personally can attest to the fact that as far as ministry goes, I've been offered to take on a Youth program that will effect for the rest of this year. It's a decision and a choice for me to make in order to continue to excel in my calling. And I've never thought that our offering is accumulative through months and presented at a certain time frame, it's an interesting concept. I'd like to try and witness my multiplication. I also believe the praise here could be a financial seeds of giving as an act of worship.

Month of Taurus

The constellation associaterd with this month is Taurus (The Bull). Well many of you may be offended and think this is astrology and fortune telling, but let's back up to scriptures. You'll see that God set up the skies: sun moon and star for seasons and timings. And the stars tell forth the glory of The Lord. God sets up the stars and know them by name and use them for sign and mark for timings and this is what the Jewish calendar really based on. Our destiny is not defined by these time, but simply if we understand through the signs what He wants to do and partner with Him we will be blessed. Example of Jesus, only 3 wisemen from the East saw and responded correctly, and that's what we're trying to dig in through the biblical way.

So the bull is a symbol of strength. As the jews look to the sky to spot Taurus it is a picture that we are to see and look to find our place to increase our strength. We ought to increase in strengt. This is a month for looking and observing to find the place of improvement in our lives so our strength can manifest and increase in a greater way!

Personal Testimony: I really feel like The Lord been telling me about my gifts of teaching and sharing need to go to another level. He gave me specific details like beside having ppt slides prepare an outline before you. Also remember that video you saw on Youtube you can use that as your visual aid, etc. I think we should be open for The Lord to give us hints to improve our game.

Conscience, Mind, and Soul

The conscience is the overlaying window or eye between your spirit and soul. God wants our conscience to be cleansed so that the window of heaven and the window of your conscience can be aligned. God doesn't want us to miss revelation He wants us to receive the wind of His Spirit. This is where we need to do some self searching and examination. This is the time God wants to deal with your soul, your mind, will and emotions. We need to come into right alignment with God. This is the time to remove wrong files from our mind and to think correctly. It is time to cleanse our thinking process.

Biblically God manifested Himself by Jehovah Rapha during this time. But Israel complained and murmured which opened up sickness for Satan to attack. We must rid of all these yeast so we can walk in total health from Heaven.

Personal Testimony: I've been hammered with some pervert thoughts, something I need to keep my spirit strong to battle against. It's not like I watched porn or things like that, I've been free from those sins for 8 years now and I usually don't look at something twice or more than 3 seconds if I feel the temptation, that is just how i trained myself. But what'd been striking me is the temptation of some thoughts that come when a woman walks up, there are lies and condemnation that will seek to strike my mind and conscience. I'm not sure what the battle is coming from. But definitely I'll spend some time to let God deal with me. Always remember if we want more, more will be required of us.

I also feel like The Lord been telling me to set up better boundaries over my mind, to limit my mind to only think of a few categories, any other thoughts I must not allow to come in. So this is something I'm working on as well.

Activate Prophetic Gifting

This the month to receive spiriutal advice, so we need to bind all of the diviners and ask The Lord to activate our propihetic voice. If we don't exercise our gift then the counterfeit will be brought in by the enemy. Now is the time for us to understand seasons and mysteries and secrets. According to our hunger, God will give to us. WE CAN DO THIS! LET'S GO!
