A Time to Advance Part 3
Significance of 12 Tribes
The Reason we study the 12 tribes in the bible in a prophetic sense is because they are part of our heriatage. Most people don't udnerstand we are grafted in to Abraham's Covenant with God and through faith we are really grafted in the families of God. And when God blessed Abrahman through his sons and the structure that has been set up, it is not only for the Jews. You see, this is really the blueprint of Heaven! Do you understand in the New Heavens and New Earth you will walk through the pearly gates that are aligned with a tribe for all eternity? There are really 12 gates with 12 tribes? Do you understand that we truly been adopted and we are Jews inwardly when we truly walk by faith in Christ? Do you understand that the 12 tribes are the Kingdom strategy of forming his army? It is a rememptive strategy to restore our inheritance and land and promises. When God says the body should work together with another, if we don't understand the culture and the backdrop in which the Jewish mind has we wouldn't come to a fuller understanding on what He's talking about. Now each of us, we can truly identify our callings and function to one of the tribe significantly. As you study you'll begin to understand your place in the body better and how you can play an important piece of the whole part. God is giving us revelation of how He wants us to move together effective and maturely to conquere the enemies. So here we go!Forerunner Tribes: Judah, Isaachar, and Zebulun
These are the three tribes that always go in front the forerunners, the warriors to make way for all others. Judah is praise and worship. And if you are a worshipper you must be a warrior as well. This is the Lion of Judah who don't retreat before enemies. It brings breakthrough and lead the army of God in charge. It creates the atmosphere of praise and carry the glory of God. Isaachar are the prophetic people who has the anointing to see prophetically knowing the seasons and timings and knowing what to do. You see God wants Judah the warrior and Isaachar to walk together. Isaachar is the eyes which can tell Judah where to go and what to do, it brings the counsel for the army in front to win effectively. Then there is Zebulun which is gifited in business and making wealth. They are the one supplying the front line battle, they fund the weapons and the supply of God's work. So these 3 tribes work intimately together to brign about breakthrough in the front line.
The Lord's Battle-Axe Brigade: Reuben, Simeon, and Gad
Reuben got in lots of trouble like sleeping with Jacob's wife, and have a tendency to lose his temper. Then Simeon is just mean and takes revenge on people and becoming very violent. These two tribes do have strong weaknesses and are passionate and full of power. This is where Gad come in line. Gad is a tribe fierce in battle, fiercest of all the tribes actually. Gad is bigger stronger than Simeon and Gad and is very dependable and stable. So God uses Gad to keep Reuban and Simeon in place as to keep their passion directed to the right way. And when these three are doing their jobs and team up together they become a strong asset in war, if the enemy stir them up, they are going to be ruthless. Understanding God did not cut off those with great weaknesses rather He placed them in a way that He can use their strengths and control their weaknesses. This group is the Lord's battle-ax brigade.
Tabernacle and Holy Things: Levites
There is a special group taking care the admin side of things. They are split to two groups (Gershon and Merari verses Kohathites) one right after forerunners, the next one right after Battle-Axe. First group carry tabernacle the second Holy Things. So when the first group arrive they set can set up the tent, as the next group come easily bring out the holy furnature into the assembled tent. Levites carry the functionalities and the administration side of things. They are to be really wise and effective in a way in the quickest time and least among of effort to assemble a meeting place for the 12 tribes. Even though David is a worshipper constantly seeking God in the temple yet he is not a Levite, he needs someone to take care of the admin side of things so he can focus on what God has call him to do.
The Next Genertaion Warriors: Benjamin, Ephraim, and Manasseh
These are the smallest and youngest tribes of all. Here is a picture of the next generation rising up. The young generation must have a place in the leadership place to learn and gain experience for future wars. Benjamin is brave and skilled warrior who know how to use all kinds of weapons. Even though God can use Benjamin in frontline, God is calling him to serve in the back to train up the next generation. Also they are positioned right behind the Kohathites (Levites) to defend the Holy Furniture of the temple, this is a perfect picture God wants the Benjamiin to teach the next generation to fight for what is Holy, to keep the faith that has been entrusted. Ephraim and Manasseh will grow up know how to war, know what is holy, and how to defend their faith.
Creative People: Dan, Asher, and Naphtali
This is the most creative group of all trives. Dan worked with Bezalel to build the TAbernacle. Dan is skilled craftsman in all kinds of artisitic work can work with wood, metal, fabric, and can set stones.Naphtali brings "beautiful" words. These are the writers, poets, and dancers. Asher has a special ability to bless the land and cause it to flourish. Asher's territory is full of oil, iron, bronze, and rich food very fertile with lots of grain, olive, grapevines. Asher is made up of farmers and gardener, and miners and oil men, and cooks and chefs. God is calling his artistic people through their artistic gifts to declare the praise of God. They are the rear guard because they draw and carry the glory of God like non-others. God's glory will cover their paintings, movies, dancings, songs, and beautiful works that the enemy will have no chance to come close. Where ever the army of God journey to, this last group of the army will make it fertile full of art work and the glory of God. They turn dry lands into prosperous place. These are the group full of creativity and channel the presence of God in their creative works to bless the nations. God has a place and a very important role for the artists in the family of God.
