Elders coming to Ezekiel, God begin to reveal their sins (leaving God and embracing idols deepening in sin, then turning to prophets). God told them to return to Him. But He will punish these people by cutting them off so you would know He is the Lord God who (upholds standard)

God is a God of Jealous Fire

Judgments will always start from the leaders and spiritual leaders. God is a God demand full glory and holiness to His name.

When we reduce God to one of the gods and seek Him as of one of the opinions in many and do not see Him as supreme will stir up anger in His heart.

I must give God the full glory and be loyal and faithful to Him. Not asking every man of their opinions of things and then seek God as one of the opinion. Rather having the attitude of wanting to know only His heart and will, and let people’s words be a confirmation to what God is saying. Also to vow to follow wholehearted in obedience to the Lord.

My Son, teach my people to seek me wholeheartedly and in loyalty will be the message of this generation. This is even my heart for this church. This is the purpose for my people that they will display my heart and will for the world. They are a people belonging only to me.
