QT Ezekiel 16:15-22 - Forgetting the Mercies of God God is a God who demands us to remember the good that was done to Him. He is a jealous husband that wants a wife that is loyal and faithful to Him. God knows all that we do but He still long to give us mercy and kindness only if we run back to Him. In this Chapter God has listed out the sins the detail crimes that Israel had committed, but God at the end says that I will never forget the covenant that I’ve made with you. We must not despise the Lord by seeing our sins as small. We need to owe our own crimes and understand how much it grieves the Lord’s heart. We need to know our covenant with the Lord, also be sensitive to what trespass we’ve committed against the Lord and not see them as insignificant, but to resolve them with the Lord asap. Never forget the blessings of the Lord is from God, we have nothing apart from Him. Pride comes before the fall. We follow the Lord closely when we have nothing, and when we are young.
