Through Patience We Will Inherit The Promise

11 We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, so that what you hope for may be fully realized. 12 We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.

2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,[a] whenever you face trials of many kinds,3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

Every promise of our destiny by God is Yes and Amen, but to inherit and walk in it, first the Word of the Lord will test our hearts. We must be tested and tried to see if we are worthy to receive the promise. This is how it works. That's why James told us to consider it PURE JOY when we face these shakings and difficulties, with right perspective we know that every testing is shaping us to be stronger and also it's testing us to see if we are worthy of our calling. And each trials we can guarantee if we embrace it with the right attitude, we are actually coming closer to the promise than we think.

John Wimber a key leader of the Vineyard Church who led a healing movement in America will testify the first few years of his ministry he preached healing and practice healing, but he will see zero result. In fact people will die after he prays. The same will be applied to Bill Johnson, the first decade of his searching almost seems unfruitful and barren. You will never dream that these two men will lead healing waves in America today. The same to be said about Todd White, you will not dream of this New Born Christian ex-drug addict will be preaching to the millions in crusade and carry revival wherever he goes. Only because these men through diligence and through faith and endurance they inherit the promises.

I am so inspired when I read on Hebrews 11, whenever the journey gets hard, and devil comes to lie to me, and attempting to discouragement. Actually the Lord is saying the exact opposite. You are closer to your victory than you think! All you have to do is press in a bit more, and press a bit harder, walk a bit further than you will touch the gold.  You see the devil doesn't want you to inherit the Kingdom, because that means you will cut short his plan and destroy his demons, and advance for the Kingdom of God! So see the pattern of heroes of faith. This thing really works like this, every one of them need to go through the exact same thing, this is the way God dealing with every human heart that has been chosen to carry out his purposes. So from now on, every time you face trials, set backs, oppositions tell yourself you are closer to the promise now. And declare that God is for you and working for you to receive the fullness of promise, and nothing shall stop you from inheriting the fullness of the prize.
