Apostolic Prayer #1
Gospel of Matthew – Kingdom of Heaven
manifests on earth – Prayer for Revival
Key Scriptures:
5:44 But I tell you,
Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,
6:5 Also when you
pray, you must not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in
the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by
people. Truly I tell you, they have their reward [d]in full already.
6 But when you
pray, go into your [most] private room, and, closing the door, pray to your
Father, Who is in secret; and your Father, Who sees in secret, will reward
you in the open.
7 And when you
pray, do not heap up phrases (multiply words, repeating the same ones over and
over) as the Gentiles do, for they think they will be heard for their much
speaking.
8 Do not be like
them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.
9 Pray,
therefore, like this: Our Father Who is in heaven, hallowed (kept holy) be Your name.
10 Your kingdom
come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this
day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us
our debts, as we also have forgiven ([e]left, remitted, and
let go of the debts, and have [f]given up resentment
against) our debtors.
13 And
lead (bring) us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For
Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
All this Prayer is in Heaven in the
spiritual realm. All the provision, forgiveness, and the power is from the
Kingdom of Heaven which the Father is the head, all we need is of earthly realm. This is indicating the power comes from walking in the Spirit in which we have
communion with the Father through prayer of faith. We can and will overrule the natural
realm when we operate in Heavenly Realms by faith in the Spirit. All the answers to our prayer will only come from the Heavenly realms. And we need learn to access and how to get there and abide in there with the Father.
7:7 [e]Keep on asking and it
will be given you; [f]
keep on seeking and you will find; [g]keep on knocking
[reverently] and [the door] will be opened to you.
8 For everyone
who keeps on asking receives; and he who keeps on seeking finds; and to him who
keeps on knocking, [the door] will be opened.
9 Or what man is
there of you, if his son asks him for a loaf of bread, will hand him a stone?
10 Or if he asks
for a fish, will hand him a serpent?
11 If
you then, evil as you are, know how to give good and [h]advantageous gifts to
your children, how much more will your Father Who is in heaven [perfect as He
is] give good and [i]advantageous things to
those who [j]keep
on asking Him!
9:38
So pray to the Lord of the
harvest to force out and thrust laborers into His harvest.
15:22 And behold, a
woman who was a Canaanite from that district came out and, with a [loud,
troublesomely urgent] cry, begged, Have
mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is miserably and
distressingly and cruelly possessed by a demon!
23 But He did not
answer her a word. And His disciples came and implored Him, saying, Send her
away, for she is crying out after us.
24 He answered, I
was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
25 But she came
and, kneeling, worshiped Him and kept praying, Lord, help me!
26 And He
answered, It is not right (proper, becoming, or fair) to take the children’s
bread and throw it to the [e]little dogs.
27 She said, Yes,
Lord, yet even the little pups ([f]little whelps) eat the
crumbs that fall from their [young] masters’ table.
28 Then
Jesus answered her, O woman, great is your faith! Be it done for you as
you wish. And her daughter was cured from that [g]moment.
The woman praying out of humility and desperation persistence
and prevailing, pressing the issue loosing all face and breaking all rules until
she receives the answers. She humbled herself by kneeling, worshipping and
continuing crying out to God with intense focus and zeal for her daughter. This
is the way how we should pray to get the same result, and this is what faith looks
like at work.
21:13
He said to them, The Scripture says, My house shall be called a house of prayer; but you have made it a den
of robbers.
God’s house is the place of canal channel of birthing and
releasing the Kingdom of Heaven upon the earth. It is revealed to us by prayer
and spiritual sacrifices.
28:18 Jesus
approached and, [a]breaking
the silence, said to them, All authority (all power of rule) in heaven and
on earth has been given to Me.
19 Go
then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them [b]into the name of the
Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,20 Teaching them
to observe everything that I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you [c]all the days ([d]perpetually,
uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very] close and consummation
of the age. [e]Amen
(so let it be).
God’s Kingdom authority also has been given to us when we
pray in Jesus name. Now if our whole existence is dedicated to the
evangelization of the whole world and establishing the fullness of God’s
Kingdom on earth, our prayer requests will prevail with God and with men because
Jesus entrusted us with all power.
