Worship Leading
Worship leading is to bring people into the presence of God. Being a artistic person, I have many ideas that I'd like to try musically. I realize many times I don't set a realistic goal to reach, therefore I can barely succeed in my own mind. God has speak to me two times this year that He is going to train me to become servants of men, and learning to be a good supportive role. I now realize that leading worship is more about supporting the whole team to reach up heaven.
I often thought if I can sing louder or do better or be filled with the Holy Spirit more and with more manifestation I would be a better leader because I can have more anointing and people would follow better... However I'm learning differently. I learned that as a leader I need to bring people of many different level up to the level your at and even higher than you. It is the meaning of true humility or servanthood. As a leader I need to restraint myself in my talk -- all the spiritual experiences, victories, glory, revelation, abilities, etc and to look as normal as lowly as I possible can (while praying God keep me low). By restraining myself I can let the team feel comfortable. People get insecure when they feel they are less or not experiencing or don't know what to do. As a leader, I must keep focus upon God and slowly leading my team to the practical goals and plans of a big vision that I received. I must not do something far beyond what we'd learned or practiced, instead building on the block we'd already built. SIMPLICITY is a plus for the team. One simple song can bring tremendous power, we don't need great songs with great arrangement at times, thought they help.
