Fruits of Obedience

Obedience is something the Lord is teaching me. I found it hard to deal with when the Lord impresses me to do something. My biggest hindrance is to believe that the Lord is absolutely good in every command and that He is not a angry task master. I often even refuse to hear from God because inside I think He is angry with me and if He wants me to do something probably won't be anything good or He might want me to do the most embarrassing thing ever. This is a such a wrong mindset. It is the voices of people in our past. Our authority may had failed us and disappointed us. They may be driving us hard and use us like a slave. But God is not like that. God is kind, love, patient, His yoke is easy, He is good. He no longer calls us His slaves, but friends...

Wow, think about it. God calls us His friends. He doesn't use us like the earthly masters. God doesn't need to use us and drive us hard. He has everything! But God only wants our hearts. Obedience to God is not to put us down or to harm us and to even take advantage of us. Obedience it is the greatest opportunity to express our love to God. As Nita says, it is the highest form of worship there is. The ultimate expression of Love is to obey God. Obedience is the action of love.

Abraham is the our Father, without him we won't be part of the kingdom. It is for His friend, Abraham, God blesses the nations. And why? Abraham obeys God in under every circumstances. He loves God more than His most precious son. He believed God is good. He is a dear friend to God Almighty. The Lord without no secrets from His friend, The Lord warns the nation because of His friend, the Lord blesses His friend without million of souls. The story of Abraham is profound. It almost seems to me that God is searching for trust and loyalty. Can you trust me and have such faith in me, that even if everything fails in your life, you still believe that I am good, even when my request may seem unreasonable in your limited earthly mind, you still trust in me? God is testing in see if there is those who can truly believe and truly trust in Him and obey His word. He is looking for agreement through the whole earth, and he found one.

Jesus asks the million dollar question--can the son of man find faith when he returns? The end of the age, lawlessness will increase among the earth, darkness will cover the earth. The Lord is still seeking His friend that will express their love to God through absolute obedience. Ones who will believe the Lord is always good and has no flaw in His character, they will walk out the most extravagant worshipful life there is in human history. God is searching for His friends.
