1 John Meditation- Part1

It amazes me that John the beloved the one who leans upon Jesus breast says, he writes this letter so that we would have fellowship with him, and his fellowship is with the Father and the son. He is telling us the Word of Life is really the path of life. John is writing to us who is living a consecrated life, good Christians following God. He is showing us that in order to walk in this type of love, we must believe with real sincere faith in Christ all that He is the full testimony that John is telling us in the gospel. Jesus is the Word of Life from eternity pass to eternity future. He's telling us what we already have access to such fellowship with God. And the real way of path of life is this. Life = Light = Love. They are all the same thing. We need to live this abiding life in Christ through God's love. John is reminding us our position in Christ, and the spiritual principle of this abiding life that JOhn 17 is talking about. I think book of JOhn should go hand in hand with this book. This is great material for abiding in Christ the deeper walk with God. Great truths of who we are and who God is and commentary on the abiding life.
