Forward

Hard to let go~ Hard to see~ When the sky is dark and the day is cold. What shall I do?

Keep going forward.

I'd been sent to a prison, the sentence is cruel, I'd been treated badly, bruised and forgotten. It's cold here. It's lonely here. It's quiet here. When Men forsake me, when the enemy surrounds me. when the terror of night grip my soul, I am weak. I loose my sight.

But I see the dim light of the moon, carrying me and comforting the wounds of my heart. Ah! God why? This is the question I'll ask...

I feel your pleasure and your smile. There is yet a lesson to learn. Yet a discipline to undergo. Lord how long will it take? How far will I go?

My son be patient. My son be still. See the night will soon past, the day will dawn in a moment's time. You will soon come out of the wilderness. You will soon rise up like Joseph did, out of the dungeon and into the glory of his God. Embrace the seasons, embrace the time, and you'll see the reward and the purpose of it all.

Give me eyes of faith, eyes of dove Oh God, in the dryness of my soul, in the pain of this life, let me see the glory of Your face. Jesus shine and cover me with your feather. I know you are good and gooder to be. There is one way to go, that is forward. Shall I look back, I will regret, so let us not faint, but keep on ahead. Oh Lord it's good! Oh Lord it's great! All that this is, is an expression of your love. Forward I will go! Forward I will go! Forward to the morning light, I will walk in the noon day of His Light!
