Let not Shame
Let not shame have my heart, let not discouragement cover my frame.
For I was not called to perfect myself, but to let Christ perfects me.
Lord, you see the depths of my heart, and you see the depths of my frame.
For you've made me the way I am, and ordained the path that I ran.
Should if I run and fall in the mist of the race, your hands are there to lift me with grace.
Lord for you see my heart, and is deeply pleased.
Truly I love you, and truly I want to please you.
For You do not see my mistakes, and are blind to all my failures.
Under your goodness editing process, you'd seen a man after your own heart.
What can I say, but that your love is marvelously great.
May I become that trophy of grace you dreamed of, and satisfied your infinite desire to love.
So let me run oh Lord without shame, and all the way to the end.
There will I see your glory face to face, and eternally we'll embrace.
Jesus, my only passion, Jesus, my only desire, and Jesus I will find my rest.
Your son,
Alvan
